I still really believe that terrible twos aren't that terrible and that age three is much more challenging. That being said sometimes there are some difficult days in there. This is one of them!
Nolan was having lots of fits. Looking back now I think it was teeth coming in, but I hadn't realized it.
Nolan had decided to cut his head. I hear him saying cut, cut, cut. I look over and he has found the pizza cutter out of the dishwasher and was rolling it on his head!
Not long after that he got upset with me about something I wouldn't let him do. I think I was telling him he needed to get off this chair. He was ignoring me and turned around was just standing there.....not looking at me. Wish you could see his face. He was mad.
I made him sit I timeout not long after that. I can't remember what he did for sure. He was just suppose to sit in time out facing me. I found him turned around like this. I asked him to repeat our little saying, "no hitting, no biting, no pulling hair." He was SO mad at me and wouldn't turn around. It was funny. I didn't let him see me laughing, but man it was funny!
Finally he started acting like himself. We sat down and did a puzzle together. The girls loved puzzles at this age and so far he really could care less. For once he sat down and did the whole thing with me...minus one piece have been missing for a while!!
Here is to another day being two!!!
