Time to get back on to the blog now that things are starting to settle down. Well as much as they are going to settle down! I tried to do this a couple of weeks ago and no luck!! Today I have tons of other stuff to do, but this seems like more fun!! Here is my photo dump for January and February!
Lots of snow days and cold days that we had to spend inside....so we tried lots of different things!!
Nolan wanted a "tactor" party for his 2nd birthday so here was the cupcake cake before it was frosted. I will have to find one of it after.....looked somewhat like a "tactor"!
The girls got Nolan this JD toolbelt and hat for Christmas. He loves to walk around and "work" on his tractors.
All the McKain cousins were here and everyone slept in the living (minus Nolan). It was SO much fun to have everyone here to stay!!! Another great Christmas as well!!
Nolan was suppose to be napping. I found him playing in his bed. Here was the beginning of the shortened naps for little guy. Sigh! Momma isn't ready to be done with the naps yet!!!
Grandma and Papa gave Nolan this fun reusable sticker book for Christmas. He was having fun playing farm!!
One cold January day Nolan needed something new to do so we made a new project!
A fuzzy stick container. He loves putting the sticks into the holes in the lid. We are trying to learn colors this way too. He is working on it, but most everything is green right now!!
Another cold day I toted the play kitchen up from the basement so that Nolan and Lauren could play with it upstairs. They thought that was totally awesome! Lauren's current favorite outfit is this pink swimsuit with her pink shorts. That is definitely what I would wear in subzero temps!!! :-)
Papa and Mammy gave Nolan these bib for his birthday. He loves them....mostly because they have lots of pockets!!! Here he is in Daddy's hat playing tractors.
We took down the gate at the top of the stairs after Nolan turned two and he was pretty excited about the stairs. He is currently obsessed with just laying across the steps. You can walk downstairs and just find him laying on a random step! Crazy kid!!!
Eating Daddy's sugary cereal for breakfast!!! Yeah!!!!
Lauren LOVES to paint. She really loves it. She got a new set of painting tools from Aunt A and Uncle C for Christmas. She had a hay day!!!! She also thinks she has to be in her underwear to paint. I have no idea why, but whatever!!!
One afternoon Nolan woke up with the craziest hair I have ever seen. It is hard to see it really well in this picture, but half of his hair was sticking straight up!!

Nolan woke up from his nap and went back to sleep in my arms. Lauren said we shouldn't wake him back up because he was "out of power". So cute!!
Another cold weather day.....Lauren learned how to make bracelets for her class for Valentine's day and Nolan played trucks/tractors while Mommy cleaned out the pantry!!!!
This picture might come back to haunt Nolan some day. He loves to play dress up with Lauren and will put on anything she gives him. Here he is a ladybug!! :-)

Finally on another snow day we had corn dogs and movie day. I think they were watching Hotel for Dogs that afternoon! We are hoping for warmer temps and NO MORE SNOW!! Looks like a chance of snow this weekend again and colder temps next week. COME ON SPRING!!!
