The power of technology

One of the coolest ideas my dad has ever had was to get us both web cams so that they can see and talk to the girls whenever possible.  Addison loves it and even as a 4 year old she already knows how to run that camera and Skype.  Aunt Lisha got on board with a web cam this year too so now we can chat with Aunt Lisha too!!

Thanks to Aunt Lisha's wonderful gift....Aunt Lisha, Papa, Mammy, Mom, Dad and Addison are reading "The World According to Humphrey" together.  It is a great book about a hamster!!  We try to read it at the same time and then discuss the chapters.  It is Addison's first chapter book and so far she likes it!!

So with the incredible technology the web cam, Mammy read Addison Chapter 6 in the book before bed last night.  Addison likes to hold the book and pretends very hard to be following along!!

Just imagine how I may read to my grand kids someday!!!  Amazing!
