Spring is definitely here! Softball has started, the grass is greening up, windows have been open, guys are getting antsy to plant and kids are outside as much as possible.
We visited Mammy and Papa the beginning of April. Addie insisted we bring her ball glove and ball so she could play catch with Papa. They had lots of fun!
On the way home from Guthrie, we stopped by our cousins' house. They had a huge surprise for Nolan......they gave him their train table, trains and accessories. Man! What an awesome surprise! I wish I would have taken pictures of them playing at their house! They were having a blast! Here is Nolan and Lauren as soon as we got home. We unloaded the table and they played for hours!!!

One of the first warm days we spent all afternoon outside playing after school. The kids were so dirty and didn't want to come in so we grilled and ate our first supper outside. Kept most of the mess out there!! Plus there are no bugs yet so it was comfortable to sit outside.
One of Lauren and Nolan's favorite toys are the big Amazon boxes that our diapers and wipes get delivered in. They love to decorate the box and color it and then play in it all day. I let them have lunch one afternoon in their box. They were SO excited!!!

Nolan still likes to snuggle some days after he wakes up from his nap. This afternoon he didn't want to move at all!!
I was letting Lauren help me bake something for supper and I look over and Nolan is licking the extra dough hook. There wasn't anything on it, but I think I know his favorite part of cooking now!!
We had our first fire in our fire pit (which is below). The sky was so beautiful and clear. The kids were looking at the first stars in the sky. It is amazing how beautiful our backyard is even in the middle of town!!!
Fire pit #1 was fun! I thought I had stuff for smores. I didn't, so we just sat around it for a while and talked. I have been shopping and now I am ready for the next one!
One afternoon I really couldn't get Nolan awake. He laid on my nap and just zonked back out! Addie wanted to take a picture. She did pretty well.
Poor guy had fallen off the side of the couch and banged up his eye and nose the day before. He hit his head even harder the next day and it looked worse!!
Finally he woke up. I kept poking and prodding him. If he doesn't wake up, then he won't go to bed in a decent time. Still had the warm, rosey, baby cheeks! Love those!
Nolan has a small taggie blanket that he got when he was born. He ALWAYS sleeps with that blanket. The taggie blanket was lost for two days. Finally he found it in the play kitchen in the basement (where I am guessing he put it!). He was SO happy at nap time that day to nap with taggie!! I had to send Daddy a picture to see that it had been found!
Yesterday was a cold, rainy Thursday. These two were snuggled up on the little couch watching some Frozen after they woke up. They fight some, but for the most part they love being together!!
