Nolan's first week

The weather the first week of January was absolutely gorgeous!  I never expected after bringing Nolan home that we would be playing outside on a sixty degree day in sweatshirts!! 

Nolan did a lot of this the first week....as one would expect!  We had a little joke going about this cute dump truck outfit.  Nolan was also pretty good at filling his pants.....every.single.time.  So we would laugh that he was our little dump truck.  And such a cute little dump truck at that!! :-)

We tried to keep things as normal as possible for the girls and add a few fun things in to make them feel included.  So one night we did a fort building/movie night.  They always love that!!  Fun to see them love snuggling!!

Each of the girls got a chance to feed Nolan a bottle the first week.  Addie was really excited to feed him. She did a great job, but I think she was bored by the whole process and really didn't seem to care to do it much after that!

Lauren really had no idea what she was doing.  She still did a great job!  She just loves to look at Nolan and so most of the bottle she spent touching his face and talking to him!

Then Nolan zonked out again for a huge nap!  We are very grateful that so far Nolan has been a great eater and wonderful napper!!  We definitely needed that with number 3!!!

The next day I caught Daddy and Nolan napping together again.  (I think Daddy really enjoys having a baby to snuggle and nap with again!!)

That afternoon he really woke up and we were able to finally all get a good look at his eyes and to see him awake!!

That evening Chad and April and their three girls came over to hang out and see Nolan.  The kids of course had a blast! 

This has to be one of my favorites of Lauren and middle cousin S.  First a little background, Lauren hates....I mean HATES having anyone comb her hair.  She screams everyday when we comb it.  So I was very surprised to find them playing her their room and cousin S. is styling Lauren's hair and Lauren just LOVES it!!  It was SO cute!!  These two love each other so much!!

Addie and oldest cousin S. just get crazy together.  They always do.  These two are like two peas in a pod too.  I think they were doing a little hamming it up for the camera here.  :-)

It was a really nice first week at home with Nolan.  Daddy was off work all week and was able to help us out so much.  He kept food on the table, laundry done and the house picked up.  Thank goodness!!  Mommy thinks we need to pretend we just had a baby more often!!
